The firm has not publicly identified the attorneys who handled its cases or who was in charge of the organization.
If this firm handled your case, your immigration matter still exists and important deadlines may still be running. Request a complete copy of your file (you have the right to it), obtain your USCIS records for free through a FOIA request, and consult an independent immigration attorney from the referral list below before signing anything or making any payment.
If a new firm contacts you about your old case: Some former clients have been contacted by a new firm, Immigration Solutions Law Group, many of whose attorneys previously worked at Alexandra Lozano's firm, offering to review their files. A class action lawsuit was filed in federal court in June 2026 over Alexandra Lozano's immigration practice. This is a separate lawsuit from the civil mass action described on this site. Here is what it does — and does not — mean for your case right now.
A class action asks a single court to decide the claims of a large group of people at once. But filing one is only the first step. Before a class action can help anyone, a judge has to certify the class — that is, agree that the group's claims are similar enough to be handled together in one case. Certification is not automatic. It is usually contested, it can take a long time to decide, and the court may decline to certify. When the facts differ a great deal from one person to the next, it can be harder for a court to certify a single class.
What this means for you: you should not count on a class action to protect your individual rights or to recover your money. Even in the best case, any recovery could be years away, and the deadlines to bring your own claim keep running in the meantime. The safest course is not to wait — get a copy of your file, get an independent second opinion, and if you believe you were harmed, take steps to protect your own case now.

On May 26, 2026, Alexandra Lozano permanently resigned from the Washington State Bar Association in lieu of further disciplinary proceedings. The resignation followed a formal Statement of Alleged Misconduct issued by the WSBA's Office of Disciplinary Counsel, which alleged a pattern of serious ethical violations affecting tens of thousands of clients. Lozano may never seek reinstatement to the practice of law in Washington. The WSBA's full Statement of Alleged Misconduct is available in the Pleadings section below.
On May 28, 2026, La Luz del Camino Legal published a statement asserting that client cases remain active. The statement did not identify any lawyers currently working at the firm or who is in charge. On May 11, 2026, nine former clients sued Alexandra Lozano and her firm (La Luz del Camino Legal, formerly Alexandra Lozano Immigration Law) plus affiliated entities in U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington. Plaintiffs allege Lozano marketed herself as the “abogada de los milagros,” filed baseless or fraudulent VAWA and T-Visa petitions, and in many cases placed their signatures on immigration documents without their knowledge or consent. Claims include RICO Act violations, legal malpractice, breach of fiduciary duty, Washington Consumer Protection Act violations, breach of contract, negligent infliction of emotional distress, and civil conspiracy.
